Welcome to my creative space!

I'm Diana, a passionate fine artist, graphic designer, and photographer dedicated to capturing the enchanting beauty of nature through my work. Specializing in cyanotype art, I utilize locally sourced wildflowers and botanicals to create compelling pieces that invite viewers to appreciate the subtle wonders of the natural world.

As a proud US Navy veteran and daughter of hardworking Filipino immigrants, my artistic journey is deeply rooted in resilience and a unique cultural perspective. I hold an Associate Degree in Studio Art and a Bachelor's in Graphic Design, skills I blend to bring my creative visions to life.

When I'm not immersed in art, you can find me exploring the world—whether traveling to new destinations, sifting through charming antique shops, or losing myself in the pages of a good book over a cup of coffee.

Join me as I share my journey and the beauty I find in nature, one piece at a time.

Artist Statement

I use the cyanotype process in my artwork to capture nature's intricate details and textures while infusing nostalgia and timelessness into my pieces. The minimalist aesthetic of cyanotype appeals to me because it allows the natural beauty of the subject matter to take center stage. The deep blue tones evoke a sense of tranquility and serenity, creating a visual language that resonates with viewers on a subconscious level.

In addition to cyanotype, I explore other contemporary forms, such as digital art and acrylic painting. I enjoy experimenting with different materials and techniques, combining traditional and modern elements to create unique and thought-provoking compositions.

Nature is my primary source of inspiration, as I find solace and a deep connection to the natural world. Through my art, I aim to convey the emotions and experiences that arise from this connection, whether a sense of awe, wonder, or melancholy. I strive to create visually captivating and emotionally evocative art by combining different techniques and forms. I hope my work can resonate with others and inspire them to appreciate the beauty of nature in their own lives.

It’s an alternative photographic process developed in 1842 that uses a mixture of iron compounds that oxidize when exposed to UV light and are washed in water to create Prussian blue images. The chemicals (potassium ferricyanide and ferric ammonium citrate) used to produce the prints are non-toxic. Each original cyanotype print I create is handprinted and one of a kind.
